Welcome to Diversity in Television! Here we use a made-up formula to give TV shows a percentage, called a Diversity in Television Rating, to illustrate how diverse the characters of the show are. It's not a perfect system but it is a way to draw attention to a large concern -- this is a huge world full of many different types of people, and that should be (but often isn't) reflected and represented in our pop culture.
Disclaimer: I DO NOT ACTUALLY WATCH ALL OF THESE TV SHOWS. Therefore, some mistakes are bound to happen. If you notice a mistake, I urge you to leave me an ask so I can fix it! If you want a table that shows a different set of characters, maybe leaving out some that I put in, or adding some that I left out, just tell me! Or if you want to see a table of the characters from a specific episode of something, I can do that too! Just let me know here --
